Tasteful Daily is an independent publication. This page describes what the site collects and what happens to it. Effective 17 September 2026.

What we collect

Your email address, if you subscribe. When you enter it in the newsletter form we store it so we can send you the newsletter, and for nothing else. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Server logs. Our web server records what every web server records when it serves a page: your IP address, your browser's user agent, the page requested and the time. We keep these briefly for security and troubleshooting, and they are not used to build a profile of you.

One cookie. If you dismiss the newsletter prompt, the site stores a single first-party cookie called newsletter_optin so it does not ask again for 30 days. That is the only cookie this site sets. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages get read. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not follow you to other sites. Cloudflare's free tier does not count visitors routed through European data centres, so if you are reading from the EU you are not in these numbers.

Third parties

Pages on this site load fonts from Google Fonts, and some entries show images hosted by the publication a story came from. Those requests go from your browser directly to those providers, which means they see your IP address. Nothing else about you is shared with them.

When you follow a buy or learn more link, you leave this site and the destination applies its own privacy policy. Some of those links are affiliate links, meaning the retailer may pay us a commission if you buy. Retailers and their affiliate networks may set their own cookies when you click through.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your information, we do not run advertising, and we do not follow you across other sites.

Your choices

Email hello@tastefuldaily.com and ask us to remove your address from the newsletter list. We will, and you do not need to give a reason. You can also unsubscribe from the link in any newsletter we send.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the effective date above changes with it.
