Timex reduces the Q Continental Chronograph from 40mm to 36mm, with a lug-to-lug span close to an actual 1970s chronograph, so the case reads as period proportion rather than a smaller dial only. The resizing trades the rotating bezel for a fixed one and halves water resistance from 328 feet to 164 feet, enough for light swimming but not diving.
