Lunaz Range Rover Classic Kermit

A Kermit the Frog commission puts green paint and orange harnesses on a British classic.

Lunaz’s Range Rover Classic “Kermit” is a restoration commission inspired by Kermit the Frog, taking the character reference across the four-door SUV’s exterior and cabin. Green paint sets the direction, continuing inside, where white and orange contrast stripes cross the seats and orange safety harnesses pick up the accent color. The Silverstone, England, company has been restoring British classics since its founding in 2018, pairing restored exteriors and interiors with modern powertrains. Its work spans the original Range Rover and Aston Martin DB5. Kermit was unveiled to mark the sellout of U.S. build slots for the founding Range Rover Classic series. The design’s defining move is giving functional restraints the same visual weight as the upholstery, making the harnesses part of the cabin’s composition.
