The Ressence Type 10 DN is the Belgian watchmaker’s first watch to pair its oil-filled display with an in-house movement. Its RW-04 automatic caliber drives rotating satellite discs through micro-magnets across a 0.1mm titanium membrane, keeping the mechanism in air while the display runs in 2.95ml of silicone oil. That separation gives the dial its unusual optical effect: indications appear pressed against the domed sapphire. Twin barrels deliver a 60-hour power reserve. The 41.5mm Grade 5 titanium case wears dark blue DLC, matched by the dial and integrated rubber strap, with total weight held to 82 grams. Around the perimeter, 24 titanium bezel segments alternate luminous sandblasted inserts with brushed sections. Production is limited to 100 pieces. Winding and setting happen through the caseback, leaving the case without a crown. Even the 120-second runner has a mechanical purpose beyond marking time, doubling as a shock absorber for the magnetic transmission.
